Become a J-1 Camp Counselor in the United States

The Odyssey International Group is a group of Cultural Exchange organizations with the mission of building bridges between cultures to promote a global future.

Odyssey International Camp is a cultural exchange organization headquartered in Los Angeles, CA. We are designated by the U.S. Department of State to sponsor international applicants who wish to participate in the J-1 BridgeUSA Camp Counselor Exchange Program. Every year we sponsor thousands of enthusiastic participants who want to experience authentic American culture by spending a summer working with children at summer camps in the United States.

Odyssey International Services / International Trainee Network and Odyssey International Exchange have been at the forefront of the J-1 cultural exchange industry for nearly two decades. Our vast network of partner universities, host companies, and staff have helped tens of thousands of participants to experience American culture and business practices firsthand, all with constant support from a passionate team of exchange visitor advisors. We provide a platform for participants to define their own journey.

Odyssey International Camp is our cultural exchange organization which is designated by the U.S. Department of State to sponsor international applicants who wish to participate in the J-1 Camp Counselor Exchange Program and to experience authentic American culture by spending a summer working with young campers at summer camps in the United States.

Odyssey International Exchange is designated by the U.S. Department of State to sponsor foreign university students, recent graduates and young professionals through the J-1 BridgeUSA Intern and Trainee exchange programs. We provide the necessary documentation, sponsorship and support for exchange visitors to experience American culture and business practices through a paid internship or training program with American companies.

Odyssey International Services / ITN specializes in connecting international applicants with American host companies to participate in one of Odyssey International’s J-1 BridgeUSA exchange programs. We are the largest provider of All-Inclusive J-1 paid luxury hospitality internship and management training programs in the United States of America. We also provide placement options for applicants interested in the Camp Counselor and Work and Travel Programs.

ITN / Odyssey International Services specializes in connecting international applicants with American host companies to participate in one of Odyssey International’s J-1 BridgeUSA exchange programs. WAIC Business Affiliate — The Western Association of Independent Camps (WAIC) is an organization of summer camps with owners and directors dedicated to operating excellent youth programs across the county. Although the resident, day, and travel programs differ in length of stay, activities offered, and location, each camp offers wonderful experiences and life-long memories for campers.
